During your initial consultation, you will meet with Dr. Bender either in the office or via a video call in order to discuss your goals or the result that you are hoping to attain. Dr. Bender will then review and educate you on all the options to help you achieve this. Then, you will work together with Dr. Bender to develop a plan that she will stage and execute in order to bring you to your final result.

A facial plastic surgeon performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgery on the face, head, and neck. Their training program includes one to two years of general surgery training and then four additional years of specialty training in head and neck surgery including facial plastic surgery. Then there is an additional one to two year fellowship for advanced training in facial plastic surgery. A general plastic surgeon performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries on the face and body. Their training includes three to five years in general surgery residency and two to three years of specialty training in all body procedures with optional fellowships.
Dr. Bender is double board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
